Breathe in the fresh air as you snowboard through world-class ski resorts, hike awe-inspiring mountains peaks, white water raft down freshwater rivers, dive headfirst into natural hot springs, climb glinting glaciers, snake through untouched pine forests, run your toes between pink-sanded beaches and spot humpback whales breaching the surface of icey seas.

Journey through to Canada, and experience nature’s revitalising power first-hand.

Fact Sheet

When to Travel

Not only is Canada's landscape big and diverse, so is its climate.

As such, the best time to visit Canada is completely dependent on where you are going within the country and what activities you are doing.

For example, if you want to hike through the iconic Rocky mountains, the best time to visit is June, July and August, as these months promise less snow, fewer road closures, more hiking trails, open campsites and more wildlife. However, if you want to ski/snowboard in Whistler or Banff, we advise travelling between December - April.

Clearly we haven't ticked off all options here, therefore, if you are still not sure when the best time to visit Canada, please do not hesitate to drop us a message.

Visa

If you are a UK or EU citizen, you MAY not need a visa to enter Canada. However, you will still need to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA).

You may also need to show your return ticket upon arrival and / or complete a landing card upon arrival. At the point of entry, the immigration officer decides how long you can stay, usually up to 180 days.

However, these policies may change due to new COVID-19 restrictions. Therefore, we highly recommend that you check the latest country entry requirements with your national foreign travel office.

Health

Some vaccinations may be required to enter Canada. As such, it is very important to check with your GP before travelling. Your GP will be able to provide you with all up to date travel information and will give you updates if regulation changes.

Travel insurance is mandatory on all our trips. We also recommend that you carry a First Aid kit and hand sanitisers / antibacterial wipes as well as any personal medical requirements.
