Spanning from Australia, New Zealand and the surrounding islands, the current population of Oceania sits around 42.3 million. Oceania is extremely diverse. Boasting the vast arid Outback in Australia, tropical volcanic archipelago in Papua New Guinea, and incredible fjords, snow-capped mountains and deep forests in New Zealand, Oceania is simply epic. Its vast ecosystem and landscape allows for weird and wondering wildlife to take form. Kangaroos, wombats, Ibis', crocodiles and koala bears, for good or bad, have become the icons of Australia. The Oceanic shores are filled with sea lions, humpback whales, orcas (killer whales) dolphins and great white sharks.

Due to no fault of their own, Australasia has a melting pot of cultures. Due to huge waves of immigration since the 19th century (mainly from Britain), Australia shares its cultures and lands with the Aboriginal and Maori people, who have existed here for thousands and thousands of years. Aboriginal people are believed to have arrived in these regions as early as 60,000 years ago, and evidence of Aboriginal art in Australia dates back at least 30,000 years.

From roasted ground oven muma cooking on the islands of Papua New Guinea and the heavily Asian influenced dishes that spiced up Australia, to the delicious Maori cuisine of pork, potatoes, k?mara, and dumplings - Oceania opens its doors for gorgeous fine dining experiences.
