Railway Market & Damnoen Saduak
You’ll start your tour with a drive by private vehicle to the railway market, about two hours from Bangkok. You'll need to leave at 6.30 am sharp or you’ll miss the excitement at the surreal railway market. You’ll get to see what happens when the train comes through: vendors gather up their things and lower their canopies, and both vendors and shoppers step aside as the train travels right through the middle of the market.
Onward, experience the tranquility of paddling through lush coconut gardens, where you'll glide along peaceful canals surrounded by towering palms. Along the way, savor local snacks and enjoy freshly harvested coconut juice straight from the tree, offering a refreshing taste of the tropical landscape. It's a perfect blend of nature, culture, and authentic local flavors.
Finally board a small boat for a ride through narrow village canals, to reach the famous floating market of Damnoen Saduak — keep your camera ready as this place is a non-stop photo op. Here vendors sell their goods from wooden boats on the canal. To truly experience this, you'll board a paddle boat that will navigate through the busy waterways.
As you glide through the floating market, you’ll see vendors selling everything from tropical fruits to souvenirs, Thai snacks, and even hot meals prepared right on their boats.

Our journey then takes us to the summit of Doi Inthanon, Thailand's highest peak, standing tall at 2565 meters above sea level. En route, we pause at the Royal Twin Pagodas, a tribute to the King and Queen of Thailand. Afterward, we satisfy our appetites with a delectable lunch at a local restaurant. For the day's adventure, you have two trekking route options:
Kew Mae Pan Nature Trail (3.2 Km/2-4 hrs): The highlight of the day, this soft trekking experience on the sky nature trail of Kew Mae Pan (approximately 3 hours) is a must for nature enthusiasts. This elevated trail treats you to splendid vistas of the lower valley, a rich display of flora and fauna, and the melodic presence of beautiful birds. Following the trek, we visit a charming waterfall, and perhaps even the Karen hill tribe village, before returning to Chiang Mai.
Pa Dok Siew Nature Trail (2.6 Km/1.5-2 hrs): Today's highlight is a relaxed trek to the Pha Dok Siew Nature Trail waterfall. The hike begins with ease and gradually descends to the waterfall. Beyond the falls, the trail becomes more accessible and less steep, guiding you along a serene irrigation canal. Along the way, you'll be treated to lovely vistas of forested mountains and picturesque rice terraces. Our journey culminates in the White Karen village of Baan Man Klang Luang, where a cup of coffee awaits you before we head back to Chiang Mai.
