A Little Extra:
Bring your friend of four paws. Torel Palace has now opened up its hotel to your 4-legged friend. However, you must choose the Villa room type and let us know in advance so that prepare accordingly.
Location:
Located in the heart of Lisbon, Torel Palace sits on top of one of the cities seven hills - “Colina Sant ́ana”. Despite its central location, Torel Palace is located in a very tranquil and demure area, with the ‘Garden of Torel’ being only a stone’s throw away.
The name “Torel” dates back to the time of a Dutch family, who in the 18th century, built a Palace in this area and also envisioned the gardens, which are now public parks. Just 100 meters from the Hotel, you can find the oldest elevator in Lisbon, which dates make to 1884. In just a few minutes, you are transported to Avenida da Liberdade, where the famous and most expensive brand stores are located.
At check-in, the hotels Guest Relations team will explain in detail the city map and answer any questions you may have. Please note, GoKo will be more than happy to organize trips within the city and surrounding areas - all you have to do is ask.

Designed with care, the goal of the Torel Palace is to make you feel at home, in an environment surrounded by elegance and good taste. The 25 rooms are spread over 6 categories: Standard, Standard with a view, Executive with view, Master, Premier with view and Royal with view. In addition, the hotel also boasts a villa and five new apartments. Each room has a distinctive and particular decor inspired by the Kings and Queens of Portugal creating a warm and sophisticated atmosphere throughout. The Royal theme that serves as inspiration gave the name of the Portuguese Queens to all the rooms of the pink building; the name of the Portuguese Kings to the rooms of the blue building and names of the house of monarch in the white building. The individual design of each room at Torel Palace Lisbon is a reflection of the hotel’s commitment to honour the history of the two palaces that have been carefully restored.
