The Euro (EUR) is the official currency in Greece. The most convenient and cheapest way to obtain local currency is via ATMs which are available in most towns, airports, major train stations and cities, but be sure to bring some extra emergency cash in a major currency that can be exchanged if the ATMs are not functioning. Check with your bank in advance concerning the suitability of your account / card overseas and any international fees that will be applied.
1. Space is limited on the boat and especially in your cabin. You can only take soft sided luggage on board, such as a mid-sized backpack or soft duffel bag. (Less than is 15kgs)
Suitcases are not appropriate for our Sailing adventures as they are not pliable enough to fit into the niches available for luggage.
2. Fresh water is very limited on board, and as such we ask for your understanding that showers are limited to one quick shower per person a day.
3. Electrical outlets on board are European style with 2 pins (240V), and are only operational while in port. It is recommended to bring an external battery pack for charging personal electronics.
4. This is a self-catering trip, and everybody will be expected to participate, cleaning up after themselves, and keeping the boat ship shape at all times (including washing the dishes, and emptying the bins when ashore.)
While it is our intention to adhere to the route described below, there is a certain amount of flexibility built into the itinerary, therefore, on occasions there may be some alternations. While we operate successful trips in this region throughout the year, some changes may occur in our itineraries due to inclement weather and common seasonal changes to timetables and transport routes. This can happen with little notice so please be prepared for modifications to the route. The order and timing of included activities in each location may also vary from time to time.
Given the unpredictable nature of weather and travel, we are sometimes forced to make late itinerary changes due to unexpected heavy rain and/or storms and road closures. In the event of this occurring, itinerary changes may need to be implemented after commencement of you trip. In this event, your Tour guides have full authority to change the itinerary and/or order of activities and substitute alternative destinations and activities as necessary. No refunds are available due to itinerary changes and missed activities caused by extreme weather conditions and/or road closures.
