From ancient ruins, majestic palaces and iconic cities to stunning cuisines, pearl-white beaches and crystal clear waters, Turkey is one of the best summer holiday destinations in Europe.

Uniting classical architecture and cyanic coastline with breathtaking scenery and eminent hospitality, Turkey will most likely capture your heart forever. After a long day with your feet between the golden sands, Turkey invites you to explore the intricacies of traditional local bazaars and be dazzled by ancient monuments that scatter these lands.

Aside from the quaint towns and magical villages, the electric metropolis of Istanbul stands as one of the greatest capital cities in the world. Stroll through Istanbul’s atmospheric streets and be rewarded with minarets, mosaics and mosques. Amongst the most spectacular sites, visitors can find the vibrant spice bazaar, the fascinating Galata Mevlevihanesi, and of course, the famed Topkapi Palace.

Dine on freshly caught cuisine, cruise the open Mediterranean waters on a luxury yacht, visit the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Pamukkale and Ephesus, float above the stunning rock formations in the iconically rugged Cappadocia region, or simply bathe in the thermal waters of the Cleopatra Pools. Whatever you decide, you can relax knowing that Turkey will, without a doubt, blow even the most discerning travellers away.

Fact Sheet

WHEN TO TRAVEL

Due to the fact Turkey experiences extremely hot summers and very cold winters, the spring and fall seasons (April, May, and mid-September through mid-November) are the best time to visit. With that said, if long beach days are what you are after, July and August will be the perfect months for you.

VISA

At the time of writing, you do not need a Visa to visit Turkey if you are from the UK or US for less than 90 days. However, please check the full guidelines on the embassy website before you travel. For UK citizens please see here for more information.

HEALTH

Some vaccinations may be required to enter Turkey. As such, it is very important to check with your GP before travelling. Your GP will be able to provide you with all up to date travel information and will give you updates if regulation changes.

Travel insurance is mandatory on all our trips. We also recommend that you carry a First Aid kit and hand sanitisers / antibacterial wipes as well as any personal medical requirements.
