When to Travel
Just like most of Europe, the weather in Greece fluctuates depending on the seasons. Although Greece tends to be very mild and somewhat tropical, winter months are much, much cooler and many coastal areas and water transport will be closed for the offseason.
Bring on Spring! Spring is the perfect time to visit Greece – from May onwards the weather is extremely warm and rainy days are few and far between. This is a great time to visit the beaches and sail around the islands, with many of the trips running through to the end of September.
From October the crowds get smaller and prices become much more reasonable. In October, you can get some great deals, however, be aware that the weather may not always live up to expectations.
