When To Travel
It is safe to say that the best time to visit Greece is spring and early summer (mid-April to mid-June) or autumn (September to mid-October). The summer months (July - August) can be horrendously hot (heat waves of 100°F/+40C are routine), crowds of tourists ruin the experience and inflated prices will hurt the wallet.
Visa
At the time of writing, you do not need a Visa to visit Greece if you are from the UK or US for less than 90 days. However, please check the full guidelines on the embassy website before you travel. For UK citizens this is the Foreign Travel Advice section of https://www.gov.uk
Health
Some vaccinations may be required depending on where you are going and what you’re doing. Therefore, it is important to check with your GP before travelling. Your GP will be able to provide you with all up to date travel information. Travel insurance is mandatory for all our trips so please ensure you show evidence of your policy before travelling. We recommend that you carry a First Aid kit and hand sanitizers / antibacterial wipes as well as any personal medical requirements.
