All rooms and suites at Le Jardin des Douars are beautifully designed and distinctive. This means that no two stays are alike for regular visitors.
Outside the ocher-coloured structures are set against a backdrop of green, while the decor inside, is weathered by time and subtle shades of beige and natural tones compliment the handcrafted materials. The rooms are warmed by stunning fireplaces on cooler nights, while the armchairs are adorned with Berber blankets.

Essaouira medina
Formerly known as Mogador, Essaouira is an Atlantic coastal city with Mediterranean flair. It is made unique by its white facades, blue shutters, animated port and souks, ocean backed ramparts and well-preserved medina.
Now UNESCO World Heritage Site, the medina is a must-see attraction durinf your visit in Essaouira. Visit it alone or hire a professional guide for a tour - the choice is yours.
Surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing
The North Atlantic coast is famous for its huge waves, which attract surfers from all over the world. In places like Moulay Bouzerktoun and Sidi Kaouki, as well as Essaouira, you'll find a variety of surfing schools (for all levels) and gear rental opportunities.

Mogador golf club has both a 13 and 18 hole course, and is suitable for golfers of all levels. What’s more, with a climate all of its own, Essaouira is the ideal spot for golfing all season long and puts avid golfers to the test during its windy season (May to September).

Camel Safari

This activity is a hit amongst little kids and adults alike, as you roam the region’s sand dunes and picture-perfect beaches.
Let’s go biking!
With several trails connecting the villages, one of the best ways to discover the back country is on a mountain bike.
Your guide will show you the best winding trails and help you discover the most picturesque spots in the region.
You can also choose to tackle them on your own - with mountain bikes and electric bikes available for rent.
Cooking Class
Partake in a cooking workshop, held in former almond warehouse called "L'Atelier". Under the stone arches at the entrance to the Essaouira medina, you can discover the secrets of Moroccan cuisine while being guided by a top local gastronomist and chef.
These half-day workshops are both laid-back and welcoming, and will teach you how to make a full traditional meal which you can then prepare for your friends when you get back home. Become an expert in tajines, couscous, pastillas, and gazelle ankles. After the class, you’ll unwind in the Middle Eastern style lounge area while tasting your creations with your classmates.
