The hotel aspires to acquire all of its food within a 50-kilometer radius, which is in keeping with suppliers on the peninsula, where close human contact and cooperation have long been critical for the community to flourish.
Meneghetti works in partnership with suppliers who provide it with fresh organic vegetables, homemade pasta, award-winning cheeses (sourced from a local dairy – Latus), yoghurt, and naturally, milk truffles—an Istrian delicacy.These high-quality ingredients are transformed into Istrian haute-cuisine by the chefs in their bid to reanimate and refashion local traditions. Every course is carefully paired to the hotel's own wine and one of the four olive oils produced on the estate.
